Bank Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe (BDK) is a vendor-independent bank specialising in car financing based in Hamburg. It was founded in 2000 with the participation of the German Federation for Motor Trades and Repairs. In 2001, Société Générale bought BDK, which specialised in automotive finance. The company offers financial services in the automotive sector for car dealers and their customers. The product portfolio comprises vehicle financing, vehicle leasing, dealer refinancing (purchase financing) as well as insurance and other services. Partner for the lease offer is the ALD Lease Finanz GmbH (ALD LF), BDK and ALD LF working in personal union.
